Exposición Pos gráfica

En el marco de la serie de exposiciones Creación en movimiento del FONCA-CONACULTA, los integrantes de la especialidad Gráfica de Artes Visuales presentamos la exposición Pos gráfica, con cede en la galería Kino Room en la hermosa ciudad de León, Guanajuato.

Aquí presentaré mis trabajos But does it float 2 y But does it float 3 en sus formatos originales y en serigrafías seriadas de 19 x 28 cm que integrarán las carpetas donde se compilan trabajos de todos los expositores.

As part of the exhibition series Creación en movimiento (creation in moving) FONCA-CONACULTA (National Fund for Culture and the Arts - National Council for Culture and the Arts) members of the specialty Graphic on Visual Arts presents the exhibition Pos grafica (pos-graphic) at Kino Room Gallery in the beautiful city of León, Guanajuato.

Here I will present my work But does it float 2 and But does it float 3 in their original formats and screenprints serial of 19 x 28 cm to integrate folders are compiled works of all exhibitors.

Exposición Jóvenes Creadores

Hace un año comenzó. El proyecto que desarrollé dentro del programa de Jóvenes Creadores del FONCA-CONACULTA en la especialidad Gráfica fue un proceso de creación y también un proceso personal en el que viví cambios. La serie Diagramas sigue aún inédita hasta su exhibición en ésta, la culminación de la beca.

Aprendiendo mucho de mi tutor el maestro Alejandro Pérez Cruz, de los artistas Manu Printster, Irving Herrera, Diana Quintero,  Aarón I. López y Carlos Bautista, gran abrazo masters!

Agradezco el apoyo de Pamela Berumen por su ojo crítico, asesoramiento y enormemente por el ensamble de la caja para la transportación de las piezas a Guanajuato, a mi madre por estar al pendiente en todo momento y viendo por cualquier detalle, a mi hermana y padre por todos las palabras de aliento y sus atenciones, y amigos que me apoyaron constantemente.

Quedan todos invitados, nos vemos en León Guanajuato.

A year ago started. The project developed within the Jovenes Creadores (Young Artists) program of
FONCA-CONACULTA (National Fund for Culture and the Arts - National Council for Culture and the Arts) specializing Graphic was a creative process and a process in which I experienced personal changes. The series Diagrams still unpublished after display in this, the culmination of the scholarship.

Learning a lot from my mentor the teacher Alejandro Perez Cruz, of the artists Manu Printster, Irving Herrera, Diana Quintero, Aaron I. Lopez and Carlos Bautista, big hug!

Appreciate the support of Pamela Berumen, my family and friends who supported me constantly.

Alfredo Wigueras realizó la dirección de arte para Caponeto del video más de Sara Cobo, nos demuestra majestuosamente su sensibilidad para componer ambientes simplemente acogedores en donde reina el detalle de instrumentos/objetos para equilibrar los acentos de luz y espacios. Algunos de estos son dos piezas mias Kata y Untitled3

Directorio de Diseño Mexicano

La escuela Centro / diseño, cine y televisión / y PROMéxico se dieron a la tarea de editar el Directorio de Diseño Mexicano lanzado en el marco de Destination Mexico en el Museo de Arte Moderno (MoMA) de Nueva York. Promoviendo el diseño hecho en México en sus diferentes manifestaciones: Diseño gráfico y comunicación visual, Diseño de mobiliario y producto, Diseño textil y moda, Interiorismo y Medios digitales.

Se incluyó a Natural Values con Ultimadamente de la colección Secret Places para Urban Outfitters. Despues de una labor curatorial monumental es excelente poder compartir páginas con estudios y personas que permean sus raíces en el lenguaje visual, entre los que destacamos al estudio Mano de papel, Kari Mayo, JPEG, Zoveck, Bang Buro, Rococo. Su distribución será gratuita en museos y casas de cultura en México así como embajadas, ferias internacionales, consulados y oficinas de PROMéxico en otros países. Se actualizará y editará anualmente.

La pasarela fue un éxito total en la Vice Gallery, felicitaciones a Cynthia por su trabajo y toda la preparación para hacer de esta una noche memorable

No Sombrero en México

La exposición No Sombrero que se llevó a cabo en Nueva York, Estados Unidos ahora se presenta en tierras Aztecas en la Anonymous Gallery de la colonia Roma Norte, Ciudad de México. Al rededor de 73 artistas / diseñadores intervinieron las tablas mágicas (juguete típico mexicano)

Yo participo con la pieza Re Ultimadamente 2 x No Sombrero. Entre las personas y estudios participantes encontramos a Alejandro Magallanes, Sustituto, Bang Buró, Dhear, Pachiclón, Nahual, Daniela Michelle, Mauricio Limón, Kari Mayo, Diego Beauroyre, Smithe One, Lili Zúñigay  Melissa Godoy

Totalmente obligados a checar también la exposición en curso de Maya Hayuk en la galería, su trabajo nos demuestra lo que el arte contemporáneo es capaz de hacernos sentir a través de sus murales, tintas de colores fluorescentes y patrones que revelan una maestría en la espontaneidad del lenguaje de la pintura

The exhibition No Sombrero (No Hat) was presented in New York, United States now comes to Aztec lands in the Anonymous Gallery in the colony Roma Norte, Mexico City. Around 73 artists / designers make a intervention of the magic tables (typical mexican toy).

"We play with graphic nature", está conformada por 29 piezas, inspiradas en el trabajo gráfico de Ricardo Vazquez Ortega, el cual consiste en hacer collage de la naturaleza; bajo esta inspiración, Buttenklepper creó distintos estampados basados en texturas de madera, hojas y diferentes coloridos que surgieron de la naturaleza; compuesta por tejidos naturales como algodón, seda y piel.

Su trabajo muestra la contemporaneidad del diseño de modas en la escena de las pasarelas en México, todo lo mejor para esta muestra y todas las que vienen mujer! Gracias por permitirme ser parte de este gran proyecto

Cynthia Buttenklepper fashion designer originally from Baja California, Mexico graduated from IED Barcelona, Spain. Will present she's next collection We play with graphic nature this Thursday 24th of May at the Vice Gallery of Mexico City
I quote a text from the website Cool Hunter Mx how my work is involved in this collection:

"We play with graphic nature", consists of 29 pieces, inspired by the artwork of Ricardo Vazquez Ortega, which is to make collage of nature under this inspiration, Buttenklepper created different patterns based on textures of wood, leaves and various colors that come from nature, composed of natural fabrics like cotton, silk and leather.

Their work shows contemporary fashion design at the scene of the gateways in Mexico, all the best for this and all who come! Thanks for letting me be part of this great project
